This particular service focuses primarily on deep deshedding rather than just a simple haircut. Trimming specific areas can be advantageous in maintaining a clean coat. It's important to note that a complete shave down is not advisable for this breed.
 
With that said, we want to accommodate all of our customers' preferences. Some may opt for very short haircuts or shave-downs for these dogs, and we are more than capable of fulfilling these requests. However, there are potential side effects to consider with a shave down on this type of coat, including patchy regrowth, bald spots, uneven hair thickness, changes in color tone, skin irritation, and susceptibility to sunburn if the dog spends a lot of time outdoors. Many who choose to shave down this type of coat may continue doing so throughout the dog's lifespan, either out of preference or due to unsatisfactory regrowth, ensuring it maintains a more uniform appearance.
