  • What do you do for fleas?
Our flea and tick shampoo will everything that may be on the dog before the service. However, this does not prevent them from coming back immediately after the service. If you would like to help prevent them, you should use the time we are grooming your dog, to wash their bedding, vacuum the carpet or clean the floor near their bed, if you can not wash these areas, at least spray them down with flea repellant or killing chemicals. The best practice is to have flea medication from your local pet supply store or veterinarian to give/apply on your dog after the grooming service. Do Not apply flea medication before a bath service, the bath will remove all of the medication.
  • My dog has ticks, what do I do?
If you know your dog has more than one tick, always go to the Vet to have them removed. If we see one tick we will remove it free of charge, but if there is multiple, we will refer you to the vet. Ticks carry disease, and removing them quickly can prevent your dog from becoming sick. Too many ticks can indicate a much more serious problem. We will decline services if we notice more than two ticks. While we can remove them, it is important to remove the tick in its entirety, as not doing so properly can leave the tick's head buried in the skin which can lead to more issues.
  • Can I make an appointment that doesn't require me to be home?
No. Someone over the age of 18 must be home at all times during services. If any medical issues arise, we need to have immediate access to someone who can make medical decisions for the dog. There are occasions in which we may need to stop the service right away and return the dog home, we can not be waiting in a circumstance as this for someone to come home.
  • How long does the service take?
This can change drastically depending on your dogs breed, size, age, and service being performed. For example, a nail trim can take 5-10 minutes. A bath for a lab can take an hour. While a bath and haircut for a goldendoodle can take up to 3 1/2 hours. Another factor to consider is how your dog handles the grooming service. In some cases, we have been 2 minutes from finishing a service, and the dog would poop and accidentally get it all over its fur, which means having to rewash the coat all over again. For the best estimate of how long your dog will take, please ask us when booking the appointment.
  • I have multiple dogs, how does scheduling work?
We will give you an estimated time to complete each dog, depending on their service. We only work on one dog at a time, so we will begin with one dog and have you switch the dogs for next one, once the first is finished. You need to be home the entire time.
  • My dog got shaved, is there anything I should know?
Spot shaving can result in irritable skin, red spots, or even shave burn. A full body shave can have similar results. If you notice your dog becomes severely affected by any of these issues, you must call us within 24 hours to discuss. Some preventative things to do after a dog is shaved, is to limit long term exposure to direct sunlight. If the dog will be in the sun for long, we recommend you use some sunblock meant for dogs. Follow manufacturer instructions with such products.
  • My dog was washed, but then he/she got dirty again. Can you rewash for free?
Unfortunately No. Once we have given your dog back to you, we can not control what happens. If we offered this, people would ask us to rewash their dog every week because it keeps getting dirty.
  • My dog has been behaving weird after the service, did something happen?
While we take every precaution to try and make your dogs service the most enjoyable, some pets behave different after a service, this can be due to the haircut, the skin feeling different after the bath, or simply because of the stress involved. We suggest you call us immediately to discuss what may be happening, if we consider it to be nothing serious, we will advise to wait 24 hours to see if there is improvement in the behavior.
  • Do you offer Discounts?
Yes. We offer a continued $10 discount to any customer who gets on a regular schedule for at least once a month. This discount is off the total price, not per dog. If you cancel one month, the following month will be regular price.
  • Are there Cancelation Fees?
Yes. If we setup an appointment time, we drive to your home and you are not there or choose to cancel, we will no longer provide services to you until a $75 cancelation fee has been paid. We are very flexible with our appointments and we know that things can happen, so we are more than happy to waive the fee as long as you cancel at least 2 hours in advance, as that will give us enough time to get someone else in your time slot or plan the rest of the day accordingly. We are happy to accommodate you this way as we ourselves have to cancel sometimes, so we appreciate your understanding when the situation is reversed.
  • Will you give me a discount if you cancel my appointment?
No. There is several things that can affect the reason why we would have to cancel. Most of the time we will try to give you the same courtesy we expect, and inform you at least 2 hours prior to your appointment time. If we simply got caught up and are running late, we appreciate you giving us 30-60 min to catch up and still provide services for you. If we suspect that we will be longer than this, we will offer to reschedule. We appreciate our customers flexibility, and we believe you have a much easier time adapting to a cancelation, as after all, you are at home.
  • I can't find my dogs price
If you have looked for your dogs price based on it's breed, but we do not have it listed, please submit our "book now" form with as much details as you can, or send us a picture directly to our phone number to get you a quick price over text. If you are not sure what breed it is, but have a general idea on the mix, check out pricing for both breeds and you will have an estimate price range to use as reference.
  • Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?
We understand services can be costly, but for the most part, we do not discount for multiple dogs. Multiple dogs does not cut our expenses down, we still have to do the same amount of work. However, depending on the dogs and the services needed, we may offer a small discount if you book all dogs for the same day. It really is on a case by case
  • Do you give Refunds?
We will ask many questions in order to get the haircut as close as possible to what your expectations are, if there is anything you would like us to fix, you must let us know when we bring your dog back to you, this will be the only time we will be able to address your concerns and we will try our best to make sure you like the haircut before we leave for our next appointment. If we have left your house, we will not come back to fix anything free of charge. If you are dissatisfied with the haircut after the fact, we do not offer refunds , if you chose to give us a second chance but we are unable to give you the results you are looking for, we will no longer provide services to your pet, because we believe every groomer has their own style and sometimes it’s not a matter of whether or not we are good at particular haircuts, but more along the lines of what the customer deems to be a good looking haircut based on their personal opinion, so we will suggest you try another company/groomer.
  • Do you do flea dips?
No,we do not do flea dips. We only use flea shampoo as a way to kill as much as the fleas as possible. This is thoroughly rinsed right after.
  • Do you work on cats.
No. Unfortunately, providing cat grooming services poses a unique challenge for us. Grooming cats requires specialized equipment and trained staff who are knowledgeable in cat grooming techniques. Currently, we do not have the necessary grooming equipment or staff members with expertise in handling feline clients. As a result, we regretfully cannot offer cat grooming services at this time.
  • Is there anyone you recommend for cats?

  • Do you work with aggressive dogs?
No. When it comes to working with dogs that show aggression, we approach each case with careful consideration. In certain circumstances, we do take on the challenge of grooming aggressive dogs. However, before making a decision, we carefully evaluate several factors that can greatly influence the outcome. First and foremost, we assess the level of aggression displayed by the dog. Is the aggression mild or severe? Does the dog exhibit clear signs that suggest an inclination to bite? Understanding the extent and nature of the aggression is crucial in determining our approach. Moreover, we also take into account whether the dog displays aggression towards every aspect of the grooming process or only specific aspects. Some dogs may exhibit aggression only during specific stages, such as nail trimming or ear cleaning. This information helps us identify potential triggers and develop strategies to address them effectively. Additionally, we consider the dog's willingness to cooperate and adapt. Can we gradually introduce the dog to the grooming process, using positive reinforcement and patience to build trust and ease their anxiety? By employing gentle techniques and providing a calm environment, we strive to help dogs gradually become more comfortable with grooming procedures. Ultimately, the decision to work with aggressive dogs depends on a thorough assessment of these factors. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of both the dog and our groomers. If we believe that we can provide the necessary care and support, while ensuring a safe environment, we will accept the dog.
  • My dog is old and can't stand for long, will you still groom it?
In most cases, yes. We need to know exactly what the limitations of your dog are, if we determine it is still safe to groom your dog, we will be happy to assist. The biggest reason to decline services, is if we notice your dog gets beyond stressed with the service. Some signs will include, excessive drooling, uncontrollable barking, tongue changing color, irritated or glazed look in the eyes, infections on skin, ears, eyes, nose, anus or other parts that can worsen, open wounds or conditions that seem to be painful. We will always put your dogs health first, even if that's not what you want.
  • Will you work on my dog if she is pregnant?
We do not provide services on dogs that are pregnant or "in heat". This is for their safety and to maintain our facilities cleanliness for other pets safety. Grooming your pregnant dog can expose them to other dogs bacteria or illnesses. We recommend you give them a bath at home or wait until they are no longer in this condition to resume grooming services.
  • My dog hates...
If your dog hates the whole process, then it is likely we will not be able to perform the services. You will be charged a minimum $75 fee for the appointment if we can not groom your dog. If you dog is ok for most of the service, but hates something specific, like nail clipping or blow drying, if there is no safe way to perform the service, we will simply skip that part and let you know why we could not do it. This does not change the price of the service.
